A reputable dry utility consulting firm is seeking qualified Drafters!

Our comprehensive design services include planning, estimating and joint trench, street lighting and fiber optic design. The individual will be involved in all phases of the design process. A Drafter must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills to deal tactfully and effectively with builders, consultants, contractors, representatives of other agencies and co-workers. Must work well under pressure and be proficient with all types of office machines: Plotters, printers, scanners and faxes. Be able to cross platform file formats from AutoCAD to Word, Excel, JPEG and PDF files.

QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience with AutoCAD in the Civil and/or Electrical field is a must.
5+ years of experience with Excel, Word and Outlook Express preferred.
Self-driven, detail-oriented, responsible and must be able to work well in a team environment.
The ability to professionally represent the firm in client settings, and with our vendors and contractors.

TYPICAL DRAFTING/PROJECT ASSISTANT DUTIES INCLUDE:
Assist project managers on projects from start to finish
Prepare Excel spread sheets and Word Documents
Submit Applications to the various agencies
Coordination of Utility companies responsibilities in the design process
Design/Drafting of the project plan sets
Implementing our firms standard into the design
Prepare equipment schedules

Please do not apply if you do not have 5+ years of AutoCAD and drafting experience.

Candidates will be evaluated and tested on their CAD experience prior to hiring.
